Minor's
Minor's Garden Center started in 1932 when Earl Minor, Don Minor's father, started in the nursery business selling plants and shrubs from the back of his pickup truck. As time went on, he managed a small retail sales yard on Appleton Avenue and Silver Spring Drive in Milwaukee.
The current location on 7777 North 76th St., purchased in 1968, features over 20 acres with a wide variety of trees, shrubs, evergreens, perennials, annuals, and much more. They are well known for their great selection of unusual and hard-to-find plants. With their vast assortment in various sizes and knowledgeable staff, shoppers can select their plants and complete their designs all in one stop. Their unique combination of sheer size, expertise, and commitment to customer service has made Minor's a household name among landscapers in the know.
Minor's Nursery Division has approximately 120 acres of nursery stock under cultivation at several different locations. Minor's Garden Center – where all your "greens" come true!
Ebert's Greenhouse Village
Ebert's Greenhouse Village is a retail garden center nestled in the picturesque countryside of Ixonia, WI. They are located 35 miles west of Milwaukee and 45 miles east of Madison. Ebert's is comprised of 33 greenhouses, including their new 10,000-square-foot Nexxus display house, and their 30,000-square-foot Westbrook display house. They're known for their specialty hanging baskets and wide selection of annual flowers. They also offer an extensive selection of tropical and house plants, perennials, trees and shrubs, roses, herbs and vegetables, and unique garden accents, including an ample selection of pottery, birdbaths, fountains, and other garden gifts and hard goods.
Their guests can walk through the "village" and visit most of their greenhouses. Ebert's grows about 98 percent of their annual flowers and about 14,500 hanging baskets, herbs, and vegetables, and perennials as well. Ebert's is 100 percent retail, and almost all of their product is sold at their location in Ixonia.
Heyden's Gardens
Heyden’s Gardens, formerly Johnson's Gardens, is a retail garden center located just minutes from historic downtown Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Beau Heyden purchased the Cedarburg garden center location in March and immediately set to work transforming the place! With four generations of greenhouse management experience behind him, he constructed a new greenhouse and installed drip lines in all of the growing areas in just a few short weeks. We are very excited about the expanded growing opportunities that these improvements will provide in years to come.
We have been, and will continue to be, a four season garden center. Our goal is to produce and offer quality plants and products in a welcoming environment. We put a lot of time and energy into our merchandising displays and have been honored to have them recognized and featured by suppliers such as BFG and Unique Stone. Cheryl Henschel, our hard goods manager, creates inviting spaces filled with well-placed product that invoke a sense of discovery for visitors as they stroll through the store.
Caan Floral & Greenhouses
It all started back in 1951 when Don and Donna Caan opened Don Caan's Flowers on 8th Street in Sheboygan, WI. Don and Donna worked tirelessly, building up a very successful florist business with many loyal customers throughout Sheboygan County. In 1993, Don & Donna's son, Tom Caan, purchased the business. A major renovation took place in 2003, adding the beautiful and modern European greenhouses that we still enjoy today. In 2013 the business was sold to Kris Shepard, who relocated to the area from Illinois and brought his 20-plus years of experience in the garden center industry with him.
Now Caan's is one of the premier garden centers and full-service florists in the SE Wisconsin region and has been voted the No. 1 greenhouse in Sheboygan County for 12 years in a row! Not only does Caan's have the largest selection of quality plant material — grown on-site — it also features a large selection of outdoor furniture, Weber grills, an expanded selection of seasonal decor, and a gift shop with something for everyone.
Bayside Garden Center
Bayside Garden Center began as a small flower stand on the side of the road out of a small home in Bayside, WI. Since its humble beginnings in the 1950s, Bayside Garden Center has grown into a full-service garden center dedicated to providing the highest quality products and services. Now, with two locations —Bayside Garden Center & Bayside Garden Center Floral Design — Bayside is offering more than ever before: a full-service garden center and a specialty floral and gift shop located in the Audubon Court right up the street from the garden center.
Bayside prides itself on providing excellent products and care to their customers. Many homes in their area have challenges like shade, drainage, or limited space. When shoppers come to Bayside, they match the correct plant material to the customer's needs. Like Wisconsin, Bayside is constantly changing with the seasons, and they are open all year. Bayside also provides online shopping and delivery to the greater Milwaukee area.
